Hanukkah Gifts and Celebration 2012!

On December, 8 2012 Jewish people in Israel and all around the world celebrate Hanukkah. Hanukkah also translated as Chanukah is an eight-day festival annually observed  some time in November or December on the 25th day of the month Kislev according to the Jewish calendar. The holiday celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and one of the main tradition is to light candles each night for eights days in a special candelabra hanukkiyah. Because Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of oil, it is traditional to eat oily fried foods like latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiot (doughnuts). Among other traditions is playing Hanukkah dreidel (a four-sided spinning top with a Hebrew letter on each side) and giving Hanukkah gifts and money to kids.
