GBO & NBCF Gifts Against Breast Cancer Campaign is a Success completes its donation to NBCF and looks to future campaigns

ARLINGTON, Mass., Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — (GBO), the experts in international gift delivery, announced today that its Gifts Against Breast Cancer campaign ended strong and raised over $1,500.00 to donate to National Breast Care Foundation (NBCF). The campaign was a first for the gift company, but it is hoping to learn from, and expand, similar campaigns in the future.

GBO featured a number of the gifts on its website with a pink ribbon from Mother’s Day through the end of June, and pledged to donate 10% of the retail cost of each gift to NBCF. NBCF specializes in the battle against breast cancer, especially through prevention and education. It has founded and maintains programs that include the National Mammography Program (NMP) – which provides free diagnostic services; Beyond The Shock® (BTS) – NBCF’s global guide to facts about breast cancer on the web; and Early Detection Plan (EDP) – an interactive tool that organizes a patient’s breast health action plan.

GBO has achieved a lot of growth in the past couple of years, and has been looking for ways to give back that can impact the global community. “We’re just getting started with events and campaigns like this,” said Dmitriy Peregudov, CEO. “But we know that we’re only going to get better, and in the future be able to donate even more to such important causes.”
